Zhuwawo finds new home after being kicked out by Herentals

admin

John Zhuwawo has found new suitors following his unceremonious exit from Herentals College.

The former CAPS United striker who has a huge reputation scoring headed goals has been offered a lifeline by Northern Region Soccer League side Harare City.

He is expected to pen a short term contract with the Sunshine City Boys this week.
Interestingly, Harare City were close to sealing a deal with newly promoted Premier Soccer League team FC Hunters in a move that could have seen them returning to the top flight.
But the envisaged deal fell through in the 11th Hour.

However that hasn’t washed away the capital club’s appetite to claw back to the top tier.
And the addition of such talent like John Zhuwawo is being seen as evidence of their intent.
“We have taken Zhuwawo aboard,” said one source at Harare City.

“We are very happy and we know he will play a huge role in helping us attain qualification back into the league.”

Harare City were at one time a formidable outfit in the PSL winning two Chibuku Super Cup trophies in 2015 and 2017.
