Genius Hute impresses with strong Chicken Inn start
Hope

Genius Hute continues to make a strong impression in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after scoring in Chicken Inn’s 2-0 win over TelOne at the weekend.
The 19-year-old striker found the net again, underlining his growing importance to the Gamecocks since joining from ZPC Kariba ahead of the 2026 season.
Hute has now made six appearances for Tonderai Ndiraya’s side, quickly establishing himself as a regular in the squad. His contributions have helped the Bulawayo-based side maintain a competitive position on the league table, as they currently sit in sixth position on the standings.
The young forward has added depth and energy to Chicken Inn’s attacking options, with his performances drawing attention as one of the emerging talents in the league this season.

Though his playing minutes has been limited in the squad having made most of his appearances off the bench, he has stepped up when needed in the team, showing his quality and contribution to the club.
Hute completed a permanent move from ZPC Kariba, and his early performances suggest he could play a key role for Chicken Inn as the season progresses.
