In the 71st minute, a brilliant defence-splitting pass from Msebe released Billiat through on goal and this time he made no mistake, calmly slotting home to make it 2-0. The goal was his fifth of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season and effectively put Scottland in complete control of the match.
Beyond the goal, Billiat constantly troubled the Triangle United defence with his movement, creativity and link-up play. He also played a key role in several attacking moves, including a chance he created for Musona in the 76th minute after a flowing team move.
Scottland later added a third goal through Issaka Muhammad in the 90th minute to seal a convincing victory and strengthen their grip on first place.
Billiat’s performance earned him the LuckyBets Player of the Match award, recognising his decisive contribution in one of Scottland’s most important victories of the season.
The result not only extended Scottland’s winning streak to four matches but also ensured they finished the first half of the campaign sitting proudly at the summit of the league standings.
