Warriors to play Highlanders in friendly

The Warriors will play Highlanders in a practice match at Barbourfields on Wednesday afternoon.
This is part of their preparation for the Four Nations tournament to be staged at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, Botswana this weekend.

Zimbabwe plays Botswana, Zambia, and Malawi in a tournament to be sponsored by Mukuru Money.
Coach Marian “Mario” Marinica is keen to see how prepared his charges are against Bosso.
The national team is camping in Bulawayo, where the local ensemble has already gathered.

They had an activation gym session on Monday before loosening up late on. Godknows Murwira of Scottland, FC Platinum’s Jarrison Selemani, Mongameli Tshuma of Highlanders, and Washington Navaya of Hardrock have been called in to replace the injured quartet of Tawanda Maswanhise, Thando Ngwenya, Prince Dube, and Knowledge Musona. Foreign-based players are expected to join camp between Tuesday and early Wednesday.
