Chicken Inn end Dynamos’ unbeaten run as Simba Bhora stun Scottland

Chicken Inn FC produced a strong first-half performance at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday, scoring twice before the break to hand Dynamos their first defeat of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season in a 2-1 Matchday 10 victory.
Dembare arrived in Bulawayo unbeaten in nine matches and with 17 points from a possible 27, but their run was halted by an efficient Chicken Inn side that took full advantage of their first-half dominance.
Binwell Katinji was the hero for the hosts, scoring twice in the opening 45 minutes. He opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Moses Demera levelled for Dynamos in the 38th minute. However, Katinji struck again before halftime to restore Chicken Inn’s lead, which they managed to protect in the second half.
The result lifts Chicken Inn to eighth place on 15 points.
At Rufaro Stadium, Scottland also suffered their first defeat of the season after falling 2-1 to Simba Bhora.
Scottland took the lead through Khama Billiat in the 12th minute, but Simba Bhora fought back in the second half. McCartney Naweseb equalised in the 55th minute before Harrison Masina completed the comeback in the 85th minute.
Elsewhere, Ngezi Platinum Stars edged Manica Diamonds 1-0, while TelOne secured their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Triangle United.
