KAWONDERA AND KAINDU CLINCH CASTLE LAGER PSL MONTHLY AWARDS FOR APRIL
Hope
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League has confirmed its monthly award winners for April, with Herentals FC forward Ralph Kawondera being named Player of the Month, while Hardrock FC head coach Kelvin Kaindu was crowned Coach of the Month after a strong run of results.

Kawondera continues to enjoy a standout season in front of goal, establishing himself as one of the league’s most dangerous attackers. His performances in April were consistent and decisive, and he is currently leading the scoring charts with 6 goals up to Matchday 10. His ability to deliver in key moments has made him a central figure in Herentals’ attacking play, earning him deserved recognition from the PSL awards panel.

On the coaching front, Kaindu’s impact at Hardrock FC has been equally impressive. He guided the newly promoted side to 11 points during April, a run built on resilience and organisation. Hardrock recorded three important victories against Herentals, Agama, and Triangle, while also securing draws against Ngezi Platinum Stars and Manica Diamonds. The unbeaten run highlighted the team’s growing confidence under his leadership and their ability to compete consistently at top-flight level.
Kaindu’s award also reflects the progress Hardrock FC have made in their debut PSL campaign, with the coach bringing stability and structure to a side still adapting to top division football. His tactical discipline and game management have been key factors in their strong April performance.
The monthly awards are selected by a panel comprising football experts, journalists, and Premier Soccer League officials, who evaluate performances from all league matches played during the month before deciding the winners.
Both Kawondera and Kaindu’s recognition underlines their growing influence in the Castle Lager PSL, with individual brilliance and strong coaching performances combining to shape a highly competitive month of league football.
