ZIMBABWE WOMEN CRUSHED AS PAKISTAN COMPLETE 3–0 ODI SERIES SWEEP

Zimbabwe Women suffered a heavy nine-wicket defeat as Pakistan Women completed a dominant 3–0 clean sweep in the ODI series, wrapping up the third and final match in commanding fashion at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on Saturday.
Despite posting a competitive total of 222 for 9 after electing to bat first, Zimbabwe were completely outplayed in the second innings as Pakistan chased down the target in just 31.5 overs, finishing on 223 for 1.
Zimbabwe’s innings was anchored by Kelis Ndlovu, who scored 51 off 72 balls, and Beloved Biza, who top-scored with 73 from 88 deliveries. Captain Nomvelo Sibanda added an unbeaten 35 late on to push the total past 220, while Adel Zimunu contributed 23.
However, Zimbabwe struggled to accelerate due to regular wickets at key moments, with Pakistan’s bowling attack maintaining tight control throughout. Tasmia Rubab led the attack with 3 for 49, while Ayesha Zafar and Syeda Aroob Shah chipped in with two wickets each.
In reply, Pakistan produced a ruthless batting display led by Gull Feroza and Sadaf Shamas, who put on a massive 220-run opening partnership that effectively ended the contest early.
Feroza starred with an unbeaten 106 off 92 balls, striking 16 boundaries in a fluent and controlled innings, while Shamas supported with a composed 90 off 98 deliveries, hitting 13 fours as the pair dominated the Zimbabwe attack.
Zimbabwe finally broke the stand through Kudzai Chigora, who dismissed Shamas, but by then the result was already beyond doubt. Pakistan comfortably sealed victory with Muneeba Ali finishing the chase with a boundary.
The result completed a 3–0 series whitewash for Pakistan, underlining their superiority across all three matches.
