Lautaro Martínez has been named the Serie A Best Striker for the 2025/26 season, capping off another outstanding campaign for Inter Milan in which he led the club to the Scudetto and further strengthened his status as a modern Nerazzurri icon.
The Inter captain was recognised for his decisive contribution in front of goal, scoring 17 goals in 29 league appearances as Inter secured their 21st Serie A title. His performances were central to the club’s success, with 11 of his goals directly influencing match results, underlining his importance in key moments throughout the season.
Now in his eighth season at the club, Martínez continues to cement his legacy in Inter history. The Argentine forward has climbed to third place on Inter’s all-time scoring charts, reaching 175 goals in 375 appearances across all competitions, a remarkable achievement that highlights his consistency and longevity at the highest level.
Beyond his goalscoring, Lautaro also contributed six assists, marking his most complete creative return in a single season. His leadership as captain has also been widely praised, guiding a new generation of Inter players while maintaining elite-level performance on the pitch.
