CAPS United look to redeem themselves
Hope

Days after seeing their dream start in the season suffer a hump when losing 1-0 to Ngezi Platinum Stars, CAPS United are looking to go back to winning ways this Sunday.
The Green Machine entertain the winless Manica Diamonds at Rufaro, and they will be expecting nothing short of a win to consolidate their position at the top of the table. Makepekepe lead the standings on 12 points, one above second-placed Dynamos after five match days.
They know the delicate nature of the competition in the Premier Soccer League, with coach Takesure Chiragwi not mincing his words ahead of Sunday’s fixture.
“It’s a game that we can’t afford to lose any points given where we are coming from,” said Chiragwi.
“We lost against Ngezi Platinum Stars in a game we had a huge chance to squeeze a point or all the points.
“But such is football. We are now focusing on our next match against Manica Diamonds.
“We know we have a good chance, but we will never try to underestimate our opponents.”
CAPS United have already won thrice at Rufaro this year, and they will be hoping to keep the momentum on this turf.
