KNICKS TAKE 3-0 SERIES LEAD AS NEW YORK FANS STUN PHILADELPHIA IN PLAYOFF DOMINANCE
Hope

The New York Knicks moved within one win of the Eastern Conference Finals after a commanding 108–94 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 3 of their playoff series at Xfinity Mobile Arena, taking a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven matchup.
Despite efforts by the 76ers to limit visiting supporters, Knicks fans still made their presence felt in Philadelphia, creating a loud and hostile atmosphere for the home side. New York supporters were heard throughout the night, with chants echoing inside the arena as their team delivered a crucial road performance.
The victory puts the Knicks in full control of the series, with no NBA team in history having successfully overturned a 0-3 deficit to win a playoff series. New York now has the opportunity to complete a sweep in Game 4, which would send them into the conference finals for the second consecutive season.
Philadelphia started strongly and briefly led by 12 points in the opening quarter, but the Knicks quickly settled into the game, taking control in the second quarter and never relinquishing the lead again. Their physical dominance was reflected in the rebounding battle, where they finished with a 49–33 advantage, and at the free-throw line, where they attempted double the number of shots compared to the 76ers.
Jalen Brunson once again led from the front, scoring a game-high 33 points alongside nine assists. The performance marked the 24th time he has scored 30 or more points in a Knicks playoff game, setting a new franchise record. Mikal Bridges added 23 points while also playing a key defensive role against Philadelphia’s perimeter threats.
A major boost came from the bench, where Landry Shamet delivered an unexpected but crucial performance, scoring 15 points after being out of the rotation earlier in the playoffs. New York’s reserves outscored Philadelphia’s bench significantly, helping to swing momentum firmly in the Knicks’ favour during key stretches.
Mitchell Robinson also played an important role after returning from illness, contributing six points and six rebounds while surviving intentional fouling tactics from Philadelphia late in the game due to his free-throw struggles.
Philadelphia struggled to respond in the closing stages, with their offence stalling as the Knicks tightened defensively. Joel Embiid, returning from injury, was limited to 18 points, while Paul George was shut down after a strong first quarter and failed to score in the final three periods.
The Knicks’ current playoff run continues to build momentum, with six consecutive wins now secured and confidence growing ahead of a potential series-clinching Game 4. With history firmly on their side, New York are now just one win away from completing a dominant series sweep and advancing deeper into the postseason.
