Tawanda Maswanhise ended his goal drought but could not prevent Motherwell from falling to a 3-2 defeat against Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The Warriors forward found the net in the 90th minute, scoring Motherwell’s second goal of the match. It was also his first goal in four games, having last scored a brace in a 2-1 victory over Dundee United in late February.
Maswanhise has now taken his league tally to 17 goals this season and is currently leading the Scottish Premiership scoring charts, ahead of Benjamin Nygren of Celtic who has 15.
The match also marked Maswanhise’s return after missing the recent international window action with the warriors due to a minor injury.
