The journey to crown Zimbabwe’s next international beauty queens has officially entered an exciting phase following the unveiling of the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2026 Top 18 contestants after a public voting process that attracted growing national interest.

The selected contestants will now battle for top honours at the highly anticipated grand finale scheduled for June 6, where five winners will be crowned to represent Zimbabwe on the international stage.

Apart from the Miss Universe Zimbabwe title, the pageant night will also see the crowning of Miss World Zimbabwe, Miss Cosmo Zimbabwe, Miss International Zimbabwe, and Miss Supranational Zimbabwe, making it one of the biggest beauty events on the local calendar this year.

The Top 18 finalists come from different backgrounds and communities across the country, bringing diversity, confidence, talent and ambition into this year’s competition as they prepare for the final stage of the contest.

Among the contestants unveiled are Nomaghkiza Makoni, Charmaine Mabvundwe, Ruvimbo Njomboro, Roseanna Hall, Kudzaishe Mwamuka and Monalisa Dube.

Also making the cut are Jemima Mandemwa, Brunnette Makanyiso, Virginia Nyambe, Nicole Nyahwera and Sindiso Ndlovu, while Paris Huni, Malaika Mushandu and Kuzivakwashe Mujakachi also secured places in the final group.

The remaining finalists are Shelly Bent, Tatenda Madzinga, Adelle Chinamasa and Cheryl Sambadzai.

With the competition now entering its decisive phase, attention will shift towards grooming sessions, public appearances and final preparations ahead of the coronation night.

Organisers are expected to place strong emphasis not only on beauty and elegance, but also on leadership, confidence, communication skills and the contestants’ ability to represent Zimbabwe on global platforms.

The unveiling of the finalists has already generated excitement on social media, with supporters rallying behind their favourite contestants ahead of the final showdown.
