Hope

Zimbabwe Women are set to tour India in October for a landmark bilateral series against India Women, marking the first-ever international series between the two nations at senior women’s level.
The historic tour represents a major moment for Zimbabwe Women’s cricket, as the side prepares for a rare opportunity to compete in both T20I and ODI formats against one of the strongest and most established teams in world cricket.
The T20 International series will be staged in Raipur, with all three matches scheduled at the same venue. The opening T20I will be played on 16 October, followed by the second on 18 October, before the series concludes with the third match on 20 October.
After the T20Is, attention will turn to the 50-over format, with the ODI series set to be held in Baroda. The first ODI is scheduled for 23 October, followed by the second on 25 October, and the tour will conclude with the third and final ODI on 28 October.
For Zimbabwe Women, the tour is expected to provide crucial international exposure, testing their development and depth against high-quality opposition in different conditions. It also offers a platform for players to gain experience at a higher level of competition.
India Women, meanwhile, will use the home series to strengthen squad depth and maintain momentum across both white-ball formats as they continue preparations for upcoming international assignments.
The tour is widely viewed as an important step in the growth of Zimbabwe Women’s cricket, strengthening their presence on the global stage while building experience against elite opposition.
