India has retained their position at the top of the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings following the latest update, while Zimbabwe remains unchanged in 11th place.

The rankings, released by the International Cricket Council, reflect matches played since May 2025 at full value, with results from the previous two years carrying a reduced weighting.
India, fresh from retaining the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 title, lead the standings with 275 points. Their advantage over second-placed England, who sit on 262 points, has been slightly reduced, while Australia remain close behind in third with 258 points.
The top seven positions remain unchanged, with New Zealand (247), South Africa (244), Pakistan (240) and West Indies (233) completing the leading group.
Zimbabwe continue to hold 11th place in the rankings, maintaining their position alongside Ireland, who are ranked 12th. The stability reflects limited movement among teams outside the top tier in this update.
Elsewhere, Bangladesh climbed to eighth place with 225 points, overtaking Sri Lanka, who dropped to ninth after losing six rating points. Afghanistan remain just behind in 10th position with 220 points.
Further down the table, the United States made notable progress, moving up to 13th place after gaining six points. Italy also recorded one of the biggest jumps, rising three places to 23rd following a strong showing in recent international competitions.
The latest update highlights India’s continued dominance in the shortest format, having remained unbeaten in bilateral T20I series since 2024, while teams like Zimbabwe will be looking to climb the rankings through consistent performances in upcoming fixtures.
